Following the WAAJ 1st Annual General Meeting, renowned Wright scholar Kiyoshi Higuchi, former professor of the University of Tokyo and Kogakuin University, spoke on Frank Lloyd Wright and Modernism. Higuchi once worked with Arata Endo and Taro Amano, providing him a firsthand view of Wright's influences in Japan. He has published numerous books during a distinguished academic career, and is the translator of Frank Lloyd Wright's An Autobiography.
